Mancala, the ancient game of strategy from Africa, has stood the test of time like no other. Workers who constructed Egypt's Great Pyramid carved mancala boards into discarded building blocks, some of the oldest-known boards date back nearly 4,000 years. Your object in this remarkably simple game is to collect the most stones in your mancala (a bowl at the end of the board). Strategy, which shifts depending on which version of the game you're playing, is necessary in determining where to begin and end your turn to gain the best advantage. A complete game takes about 20 minutes.

±8± Best Buy I plan Mancala played here and there, as in cafes or at friends' houses, but have been the years. This is a fun and classic game maybe something similar to backgammon? It is relatively easy to learn and the carved wooden board and glass beads are of good quality (even if a potential choking hazard for small children). This game can be played relatively quickly, not something that goes on for hours, but is fun to play and always try the different versions. on Sale!
